In January 2009, the mystical artist Otto Rapp started a Private Network of Visionary Artists on the Ning Platform with a handful of friends. Since then, the Membership has steadily grown and includes some of the very best Visionary Artists in the Universe. Many of these artists had been friends for decades, others are new to the fold. Here is a selection of art from the thousands of works submitted so far.

The Visionary Art Gallery is the public display space for the members of the private Visionary Art Network. There are nearly 270 member artists currently featured on the gallery pages.
The aim of the Visionary Art Network is to create a meeting place for Visionary/Surrealist/Fantastic Realist Artists.
Founded in January 2009 with a core group of a handful of Otto Rapp's artist friends, the network quickly expanded to its current size. While the privacy of the network allowed the artists to exchange ideas and have a space of their own away from the hustle and bustle of public social networking, the need for public exposure is met by mirroring designated albums of the artists works in the public Visionary Art Gallery - this public space was put on line in August 2009, and officially opened the following month. Since then, it has seen expansion into sister sites, the Visionary Art Emporium and the Visionary Art Hall of Fame, both of which are still under development, but accessible through the galleries main site.
Presented in this video is a selection of some of the artists represented.
